Where will you choose to live? If you live close to the fire (wickedness), you will get burned. If you choose to live near God, spending time in His presence, you will get blessed. The choice is yours. Keep Reading...
Worship Psalms 84:1-4 - How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young– a place near your altar, O Lord Almighty, my King and my God. Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you. Worship: God doesn’t want “once-a-week" worship. He wants us to dwell with him. Speak out your longing to live in God's presence (even before you "feel" the longing). Remember Genesis 13:10-13, 18 - Lot looked up and saw that the whole plain of the Jordan was well watered, like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, toward Zoar. (This was before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.) So Lot chose for himself the whole plain of the Jordan and set out toward the east. The two men parted company: Abram lived in the land of Canaan, while Lot lived among the cities of the plain and pitched his tents near Sodom. Now the men of Sodom were wicked and were sinning greatly against the Lord… (v. 18) So Abram moved his tents and went to live near the great trees of Mamre at Hebron, where he built an altar to the Lord. Remember: You have a choice to live near sin or stay far away. The choice to live around sin and rebellious people will have a devastating effect on your future and family. Believe John 14:23-24 - Jesus replied, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me. Believe: Obedience to Jesus attracts the Trinity to your home. They intend to move in. Will you let Father, Son and Holy Spirit live in your home, giving them access to every room? Surrender Ephesians 5:8-13 - For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible. Surrender: Do you condone or "wink at" any fruitless deeds of darkness? God says to expose them (be firm and clear about wickedness). Go one step further. Find out what pleases the Lord.
