Scroll on picture below to begin Worship Psalms 112:1-3 - Praise the Lord. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who finds great delight in his commands. His children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. Worship: Praise the Lord who keeps his promise of faithfulness to future generations. Thank him for his care for your family and family line. Remember Genesis 4:23-24- Lamech (5th generation after Cain) said to his wives, “Adah and Zillah, listen to me; wives of Lamech, hear my words. I have killed a man for wounding me, a young man for injuring me. If Cain is avenged seven times, then Lamech seventy-seven times.” Genesis 5:24 - Enoch (5th generation after Seth) walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away. Remember: God’s blessing is on the line of righteousness. Walking in wickedness, however, will be compounded into future generations. Believe John 8:54-59 - Jesus replied, “If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me. Though you do not know him, I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and keep his word. Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.” “You are not yet fifty years old,” the Jews said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!” “I tell you the truth,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds. Believe: Jesus is the eternal God… the God of generations. He is before you and after you. He carries your family line. Surrender Ephesians 6:1-3 - Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother”–which is the first commandment with a promise– “that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.” Surrender: Honor to those who have gone before you (your parents) will extend your life into the future. Make a specific effort to honor your parents today.
