11/10/2019 1 Comment You Fit in God's Will
You have prayed many times to know the "will of God." He has heard you. He has spoken. Keep Reading...
READ Ephesians 1:9-10 - "And he made known to us the mystery of his will... to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ." THINK ABOUT IT Have you ever wondered, "What is God's will for me?" Of course you have. Typically, you mean, "What job should I take? Which person should I marry? Which place should I live? What is God's will?" You want to be "in the will of God," so you pray and keep asking. But, do you know that he has already stated what his will for you is? Actually, the Bible is full of statements regarding God's will for you. You don't have to look any further. This passage in Ephesians 1 says that God has made known to us his will - that is, to bring everything (that includes you!) under Jesus. In other words, his plan is to fit everyone and everything together under the authority of Jesus. You fit in his plan. Instead of asking, "What is God's will for me?", we should ask, "Am I living under the authority of Jesus in my daily life?" If we are being obedient to what he has already said in his Word, then we are in his will. If we are submitting our time, our bodies and relationships to him, then we are walking in his will. Notice that God's plan is to fit us TOGETHER under Jesus. In other words, you fit in the body of Jesus. If you want to find God's will for yourself in isolation (i.e. not connected to God's people), you won't find it. Your unique role in God's kingdom is found in serving and building up the body of Jesus. As you get busy in submitting to Jesus and serving his people, specifics in your unique calling will reveal themselves. PRAY Dear God, I want to be in the center of your will. Please show me if there is any area in my life that is not submitted to you. I want to make that right. I will get busy today building up your body by serving my brothers and sisters. I trust you with my future. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The prayers that we have said to the Lord are private and we are waiting for that right moment to come. We may have some questions in our minds about our prayers, but we should be faithfully waiting for that right moment to come. The Lord knows when is the perfect timing for us to achieve that wish that are waiting for.
