Just Say the Word

Jesus not only has all authority, but he exercises it with great care for you. Believe him today. Call out to Jesus to speak his word of healing over your life, over your family, over your co-worker. This kind of faith pleases Jesus Hebrews 11:6.

"Just say the word."

Oh that we would know the faith of the centurion. There was a complete confidence in Jesus' ability and desire to heal. What gave the centurion such confidence… even to the point of not needing Jesus to touch his servant but just speak a word? The centurion recognized that Jesus had something.

Authority. When we recognize that Jesus has all authority - that all angels and demons submit to his name - we too will be filled with confidence. The faith that we are called to place in Jesus is not a blind faith. It is based on the truth that all authority belongs to Jesus.

Think of an area of your life that you need healing or specific breakthrough in. Call out to Jesus to speak his word of healing over your life. Now, be ready to speak Jesus' name over a person nearby that needs Jesus' healing touch. Ask him to put you in contact with someone that you can pray for today. Remember, you walk with the authority of Jesus as you are in relationship with him. Ask the person if you can pray for them. Then, speak healing over them, in the name of Jesus. Practice using your authority in Jesus today.
