The same "I Am" that spoke with Moses on Mt. Sinai is knocking at the door of your house. Will you let him in? Keep Reading...
Pray I'm ready to hear your voice, Lord. Please speak to me through your Word. Thank you for always being faithful to reveal yourself. In Jesus' name, Amen. Read Exodus 3:13-15 - Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?” God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’ ” God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers–the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob–has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation. Reflect God is real. He lives and is present with us. That revelation should be enough. As hard as we try to define God, we always fall short. We must actually experience him to know him. God as the "I Am" means that he cannot be confined to our definitions. He is before us, beyond us, and yet, present with us. The truth that he is present with us means that he desires to be known. God should not be studied as an ancient truth or a mystical being. He wants to be known as a person. It is for this very reason that he spoke to normal humans throughout the whole Old Testament. And this is why he spoke through his Son, God made flesh, Jesus Christ. The same "I Am" that Moses met is in your home. Do you recognize him? Do you look for him… listen to him? He still waits to be known by you. Apply Take a moment to be still before God right now. Acknowledge that you are in the presence of the "I Am". Speak to the Holy One with great reverence and love. Thank him for coming close. Continue in worship. Read More Exodus 6:2-3 John 1:14, 18
