Oh yes, you were created on purpose. You were no after-thought. He is excited about all the plans he has in store for you. Read more about how intentional God is with you.
Pray
Dear Jesus, please speak to me through Your Word. I want to meet with you right now. Thank you for being close to me. In Jesus' name, Amen. Read Psalm 139:13-16 Ask How were you created? What does God's detailed involvement in your creation say about how important you are? Re-read verse 16 - How does this show that God was planning on you? Reflect God does not create average. Why would you think that you are only average or less than average? It is probably because you have been comparing yourself to someone else that has been made completely unique and special. When you compare yourself with others, you come out with a confused identity. The foundation of your true identity comes from your Father God. You were thought about from before creation (Ephesians 1:4). You were created on purpose. It is not random that you are here on this earth at this time in history. It is no accident that you are reading this right now. God has been planning on you for a long time. And when he thinks about you, what is going through his mind? See Psalm 139:17-18. He is thinking his precious thoughts toward you… more precious thoughts than you could ever count. Oh yes, you were created on purpose. You were no after-thought. He is excited about all the plans he has in store for you. Meditate Ephesians 1:4-6 - For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will– to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. Apply Have you ever wrestled with thinking you are better than other people or worse than other people? Do you compare yourself with others? If so, you have missed the truth that God created you special and on purpose. If appropriate, take some time to ask God for forgiveness for comparing yourself with others. Commit to him that you will give thanks for your uniqueness.
