Renounce the lies from the enemy. Replace them with the truth.
What often stops us from experiencing the love of the Father is when we take on the role of the older son in Luke 15. We focus on the "injustice" done to us - how the other person is getting away with "murder" and how we deserve better. Our hearts move into accusation against God's character. In this state, we grow cold and distance ourselves from the Father's love. The older son needed to recognise his own religious, hard heart. His lack of mercy on his brother was the very thing that kept himself from experiencing the deep love of his father.
Father Heart ministry can begin with getting revelation of the mercy of the Father on our lives... recognizing that we are the ones who have caused pain to others and to His heart. Recognize the unconditional love that He has displayed to us through our many times of sin and outright rebellion. Allow the truth of His constant love through our willful rejection of Him to sink deep into our souls. This is the first step in our healing -- in the experiencing of His great love.
