To guard yourself against rebellion, take the following prescription. Repeat daily.
READ
Psalm 51:10-12 NIV - "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me."
MESSAGE: Cry out for a soft and willing spirit to go God's way. Psalm 86:11 NIV - "Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name." MESSAGE: I want to wholeheartedly obey God. Hebrews 3:7-8 NIV - "So, as the Holy Spirit says: 'Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the desert.'" MESSAGE: Don't harden your heart against God. PRAY
Dear Father, I say "Yes" to your ways. I want to follow your preferences, not just your commands. I long for a soft heart and a willing spirit. Please give me an undivided heart that I may fear You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

WORSHIP
GIVE
Approach someone who leads you with love. In other words, get to know them more. Have a chat. Ask them for coffee. Ask questions of them to find out about their lives. When you draw close to your leaders, rebellion fades.
