Dear Father, You are so kind and good. I want to be like You. As I look in Your Word, please show me how to imitate You. Thank you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Many find it difficult to find security in the love of God. It doesn’t seem real to them. The truth is - God is constantly showing His love to us. But, we are not always picking up on it. Why? It is not until we continually give the Father’s love that we can continually experience His love. The flow of the Father’s love through us is important. Give love before you feel like you have enough to give. It is the love of God flowing through you that actually affects your spirit. After giving, you gain greater security in His love. The flow of His love through you changes you, as well as the people you are loving. So, get the flow of love moving in your life.
Meditate
John 15:9-12 - “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
Apply
Ask God to give you the name or face of a person that you can show love to. Now, ask God for His way to love that person. Take care of it right away. You could actually do this for more than one person, if you want! :)
