You are worthy of the calling you have received. But are you walking worthy of the calling? Keep Reading…
Listen to Ephesians 4 below and let God's Word soak into you.
Ephesians 4:1-3 - As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
God the Father has called you worthy of the life of his Son, Jesus. And he has given you a calling. Do you know what it is? Read Ephesians 2:20-21.
So how can we live a life worthy of this calling we have received? It's all about how we treat each other. Since we were called to be joined together in Jesus' body, how we treat each other is of great importance. As we walk with each other, we are called to be humble, gentle, patient and loving. Jesus wants us to "make every effort" to stay unified.
As you think about humility, gentleness, patience, love and unity, which attribute do you find the hardest to show? Allow the Spirit to show you how you can walk worthy of your calling. Do you look like Jesus in your humility, gentleness, patience, etc.? Respond to the Spirit as he speaks to you about how you live.
