1 Samuel 17:26 - David asked the men standing near him, “What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and removes this disgrace from Israel? Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?

THINK ABOUT IT
Everyone ran away in fear when the giant, Goliath, stepped forward. Everyone except David. He was more concerned about the honor of God than his personal safety.

The enemy, Goliath, was ridiculing God's army. This made David mad. He couldn't just stand around while God was being dishonored. This quality of fierce loyalty to God even at the expense of personal safety was what set David apart.

You don't need to have special skills to stand out in God's army. You only need a fierce loyalty to Him. Your heart of devotion and love for God will have amazing impact on this earth.

Dear Lord, I want You to be honored. I want to be someone who cares more about Your honor than my own safety or reputation. In Jesus' name, Amen.
