1 Samuel 16:18 - One of the servants answered, “I have seen a son of Jesse of Bethlehem who knows how to play the harp. He is a brave man and a warrior. He speaks well and is a fine-looking man. And the Lord is with him.

THINK ABOUT IT
When David played his harp, the power of God was released. It was more than a pretty melody or even a viral YouTube song that came from David. Demons fled at the sound of David's harp. Why? David was a warrior and worshipper of God.

Do you remember why David was chosen by God? It was not because of his good looks or musical expertise. He was anointed because of his heart of love for God. When you combine a heart for God and loyalty to his ways, power gets released through your life.

God does not want to improve your skills and abilities. He wants to anoint your abilities with power, so that the enemy runs away when you show up.

PRAY
Dear Lord, I give you my skills and abilities, whether great or small. I want You to anoint them for your purposes. I want to be a worshipper and a warrior for You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
