The decision to live in fear is a decision to live in unbelief… unbelief that God is trustworthy. It is natural to feel afraid at times. But, it is rebellious to live in fear (i.e. choose fear above God’s love). The Father wants to make you complete in his love, so that your fear is driven away. This is possible. Will you work with him to make this happen?
Meditate
Romans 8:37-39 - No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Apply
When we reach out in love, we get filled with the Father’s love. Ask God for a practical way that you can show love to someone today. It could be a practical act of service, a gift, time spent or a personal prayer prayed for someone. Seize the moment and follow through.
