2 Samuel 6:14-15 NIV - "David, wearing a linen ephod, danced before the Lord with all his might, while he and the entire house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouts and the sound of trumpets."
Why should there be any difference in your love relationship with the Lord? Is there anything you wouldn't do to show that you love him? David's wife was disgusted with David's display of love for the Lord. She was so religious in her expression of worship that she was repulsed by a genuine display of love.
Our Lord Jesus is worth all the exuberance you can muster. Don't try to limit your joy to what would seem logical. You wouldn't act that way when you are first in love with a special someone. Jesus is worth so much more.
Go on…. Dance for Him!
