Do you find thoughts of accusation swirling about in your head? After an argument with a family member, do you walk away filled with accusation toward that person? Even if a person asks you for forgiveness, do you struggle with eliminating accusation in your mind?
Relationships with leaders and family members are often the main focus of attack. Satan desires to break apart these vital relationships. Do not think it is strange if accusation gets stirred up within you in these relationships. The enemy has a plan. Do you?
You are called to fight with different kind of weapons. 2 Corinthians 10:4 The world fights with accusation and unforgiveness. So, how are you to fight?
First, when thoughts of accusation come into your mind, recognize them (capture them) and their source of origin - the devil. Do not ponder them or allow them space to move. Recognize them and cut them off, in the name of Jesus. Next, speak out blessing over that person whom you are tempted to accuse. Pray for their well-being and a rich relationship with Jesus. The temptation to accuse will fade.
Do you recognize which relationships in your life get targeted by the enemy through accusation?
Even before accusation begins, pray out blessing over those whom you regularly get tempted to accuse. This regular prayer of blessing will keep your mind secure even before the temptation to accuse begins.
