Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.
Worship: Speak out the names of God. Use his names in worship. He will not turn away from you.
Then the Lord came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed his name, the Lord. And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness….”
Remember: God longs to reveal his names to you in a personal way. Allow him to speak his names to you.
Then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. He is “the stone you builders rejected, which has become the capstone.” Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.
Believe: It is the name of Jesus that brings salvation. There is power in the name of Jesus!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Surrender: Jesus is Lord. As Lord, he requires your complete surrender. What specific act of surrender is he calling from you today? Time, money, relationships, focus, energy…?
Missionary. Teacher. Worship Leader. Deeply desiring to make God's Word accessible and understandable to all. May you be transformed as God's Word fills your life.
